Goblet

Goblet is a linear roguelite with an ever-hungry Goblet. You must collect items and feed them to the Goblet to gain more power. It was made almost entirely by me, but the boss sprite was made by YouKnowWho6039, and the fade out transition is by travesol_dog.

Tips

-You cannot open chests until you complete the first dungeon. Once you get the Open Chest Rune, it's a good idea to run the first dungeon again to get some items for power. By the way, 8 items in the Goblet = +1 Damage

-Some weapons have a type. They are:

-Fire: +1 damage

-Earth: Greater Range

-Air: Greater Knockback

-The weapons do different damage:

-Staff: 1 damage

-Sword: 2 damage

-Spear: 3 damage

-Rod: 4 damage

-The combat system is a bit weird: the recharge time is pretty long. Wait until your enemy is close to strike, then run from other enemies. Strike when you see your held item above your head. The recharge number by your item is a bit wonky for now, when it’s 6-7 it’s dealing damage, when it’s 5-4 it’s recharging, and lower than that, you can strike again.

-I've done my best with bugfixing, but there are likely a few lingering bugs. Report any you find down below please!

During the weapon recharge, the weapon appears above my head before the UI says my cooldown is done. Is that intentional, is it a bug, or am I just wrong

It’s intentional, but I see why you thought it was a bug. Your weapon is dealing damage when it’s cooldown number is a 6-7. Then, from 5-4, it recharges. You can strike anytime after. The other numbers are irrelevant, they’re a relic from an older combat system. I’ll fix this soon, thanks!
